The Only Fun In Town/Sorry For Laughing Review
07/13/2005 6:49 AM, AMG
This release combines the band's abandoned first LP (Sorry for Laughing) with their official debut (The Only Fun in Town). There's overlap in a few tracks, but it's interesting to witness the shift from the more bottom-heavy production of Laughing to the comparatively trebly Fun. Some arrangements are slightly altered as well. Both records are strong and consistent throughout, with little filler. Certainly worth seeking out for any fan of early XTC, Joy Division, or Television. ~ Andy Kellman, All Music Guide
