The popular Sugar Beats series continues with Everybody Is a Star, which features more classic oldies interpreted by a cast of child and adult performers. This volume includes time-tested hits like "The Lion Sleeps Tonight," "Cool Jerk," "Rockin' Pneumonia and the Boogie Woogie Flu," and "You've Got a Friend." Though the original versions of most of these songs would be appropriate for children as well, Sugar Beats' versions are upbeat, entertaining fun for parents as well as young children. ~ Heather Phares, All Music Guide
