While a good record, this doesn't improve on the formula established by Smash. Songs like "Gone Away" and "The Meaning Of Life" are, again, really more rock than punk. But the Offspring's perennially sarcastic attitude shows that they're anything but corporately-controlled boys. Ixnay On The Hombre further muddies the definition of what punk is, or should be.
