Rarely thwarted by even their grandest ambitions, it seems that the more the Cure branch out, the more commercially accepted they are. Case in point: this overarching, ostentatious double-LP, which opens with the spitting diatribe "Get your fucking voice out of my head/ I wish you were dead!" One of their highest-charting albums to date.
