A few standout tracks ("Gotta Lotta Love," "Ice M.F. T") aside, this record doesn't grab and hold like standard Ice-T fair. It sounds like he had more on his mind than making records, and following his break from Warner Bros./Sire, and the launching of his own label, this is probably the case.
