launch_vitamin_c: I was excited. I was trying to get a song on there. I was writing that song for Pikachu.

launch_vitamin_c: Yes. I'm very thankful that the street team is out there working as hard. I think it's cool. It gets them in touch with each other. It's a different way of doing it. Thank you.

launch_vitamin_c: My hair presently is all yellow with a new color of red underneath. I changed the red.

launch_vitamin_c: Yes.
lets_have_a_party_99: Do you surf the internet a lot? If so, what do you think of all the websites out there on you?
launch_vitamin_c: I do surf the Internet quite a bit. I rarely go to my own sites. So I haven't seen most of them.
LyndseyLaunch: How did you get your start in music?
launch_vitamin_c: I started as a dancer, then I learned how to write some songs, started playing in rock 'n' roll bands, and just continued from there. I got a record deal because I was playing out and someone saw me.
Sharpe_27: who does your hair? I have orange hair too... but it's in spikes and I'm a guy. do you get harassed by guys often?
launch_vitamin_c: I do my own hair or I have this woman in L.A. who sometimes does it, Patti. Or this woman in New York, Mary Jones. And generally they fix whatever bad hair mistakes I made. I do get problems from all sorts of people because of the hair.
gmfullerjr: Will you go out with me VC? Well, that i am asking is are you dating anyone at the present time?
launch_vitamin_c: Ha ha. I am dating someone presently. If it doesn't work out, maybe.
firedude18_99: Was it Santana that had a lyric in a song that inspired your last hit? If not them who was it?
launch_vitamin_c: Yes, it was Santana. I knew that song since I was little. This sentiment is "try, you have no one to depend on but you."
jadetabby_25: I really like your music , how much of much of it do you write?
launch_vitamin_c: I write most of it. I co-wrote nine songs on the album. I co-wrote the Pokemon song. For me, I write because I enjoy writing music. It helps me deal with my personal problems. It's just a way to help me get through.

launch_vitamin_c: I go to movies a lot. I read. I collect things, coats. Vintage coats. I always go to thrift stores. I have a very big rare disco collection.

launch_vitamin_c: It's a toss-up between New York City and Bangkok, Thailand.
musicurl: WHY DID YOU LEAVE YOUR LAST BAND?
launch_vitamin_c: Well, what happened was the drummer left first. And I had to start replacing people. The band was falling apart. Instead of forming a new band and call it the same thing, I decided to move on. I had been writing with the same people. I started writing with different people. I played bass in a band where I didn't really sing, then I decided to be Vitamin C. It was sort of an evolution. I didn't want to hold onto Eve's Plum with different members.
mary_c_28: Have you been in any movies other than Hairspry?(BTW you were very cute in that movie:))
launch_vitamin_c: I've been in a few different movies. None really worth much mentioning.

launch_vitamin_c: That's a tough one. I have fantasies of doing duets with a lot of people. I think it might be neat to do a duet with Kid Rock. Something unexpected.

launch_vitamin_c: No, I don't. I'm doing something for Oxygen, which is a new network. I'm also doing something on CBS soon. Look for them, but I don't know when.

launch_vitamin_c: "Me, Myself And I" was the most fun. The most fun I've ever had making a video.

launch_vitamin_c: I do like punk, quite a bit. A little bit more older stuff than newer.
leaner20: What do you think about being labeled with having Girl Power?
launch_vitamin_c: I think it's cool. I prefer to think of people having people power. Girl power is a good tagline to teach and make people aware that girls and women can be strong and successful. And I think a lot of times, especially in music, or media, people need a tagline. A soundbyte. Thanks to our post-feminist heroes we have a phrase with what I feel is an important sentiment.
cheerleader144_98: what is your advise to people that want to make there own band?
launch_vitamin_c: Start writing your own songs. You should always be the worst person in your band. Everyone should be better than you. You don't need to be best friends with everyone in your band, but you need to have a common goal. And most of all, you need to believe. Believe in the dreams and believe in yourself.

launch_vitamin_c: Actually, I read an article about when you smile it makes you feel better. I've always struggled with being depressed. To me that song represents the struggle. I just thought a smile can't cure everything, but it's a good place to start.

launch_vitamin_c: I don't have any pets, however, I take care of a Persian cat occasionally that I love. But I'm kind of allergic.

launch_vitamin_c: Well, I recently lost someone very close to me. So I'm feeling a little sad, but very thankful that I get to do a job that I enjoy. I wished my friend, wherever he is, much happiness.

launch_vitamin_c: Ears. I'm basically piercings-free except for multiple piercings in the ears.

launch_vitamin_c: Ha ha. I have an album called Stairway To Love and it's by the Wonder Band and it's disco Zeppelin covers. Occasionally, one time in my life at four in the morning at the Roxy or Sound Factory, I heard one of the songs. I've never heard it anywhere else. It's amazing a lot of those really cheesy, like '70s disco records where they took a hit song and turned it into a disco song really sucked, but this one rocks.

launch_vitamin_c: I would love to travel around Japan. Whenever I'm in Asia, I'm working. I would like to explore.

launch_vitamin_c: I would take dark chocolate-covered pretzels, my pillow, and gosh--that's really tough to take three things--whatever CD I was listening to. I get obsessive about CDs. This week I would take the Filter CD. A month ago I would have taken Chaka Khan's greatest hits. Before that Kid Rock. And I can't forget a bottle of champagne.

launch_vitamin_c: No. I don't think of myself as a role model. I'm an artist. I write and perform music. I do think I have a responsibility to be true to my beliefs. I think that's what my responsibility is.
